Axiom Arc Caitlyn build with runes and items. Axiom Arc Caitlyn guide offers in-depth how-to play, skill order and tips. Play Axiom Arc Caitlyn build in League of Legends Patch 25.05!
This is a specialization of regular Lethality Caitlyn build that is all about big ults and ulting very often, thanks to Axiom Arc.
You build Attack Damage and Lethality to boost damage from your abilities.
You rush Axiom Arc to reduce cooldown of your ultimate, so you can use it more often.
You try to make the most of your First Strike procs to earn gold and deal damage.
The easier version of this build is to take Dark Harvest instead of First Strike.
How to play
General
Build Axiom Arc first, then follow up with Lethality and AD items.
If you have mana problems, buy Tear of the Goddess. That should be enough to go through early and mid game. You can sell it later or buy Muramana.
It is okay to not buy boots, or to sell them in the late game. Use 6th slot for more Lethality! You are covered with Ghost.
Since 14.1 Boots become even more optional, since you can get Youmuu's Ghostblade!
Wait for First Strike and proc it with your combo, to deal damage and earn gold.
Be careful to not get poked, because you waste First Strike procs.
Champion
You can proc Sudden Impact (if used) with your E, then auto attack.
Item order is something like: Axiom Arc -> The Collector -> ...
If an enemy team has champions like Neeko (W clone), Wukong (W clone), Yasuo (W Windwall) or just a bunch of tanks, do not play this build, it is not going to be fun nor efficient!
Your main snipping combo is First Strike + cast E (Sudden Impact) + R.
While you are not snipping, feel free to use First Strike with your W + auto attack, or with Qs.
Tips and Tricks

Keep track of your Headshot (Passive)! It can be used for securing cannon minions, harass enemies or score kills.
You can place your traps Yordle Snap Trap (W) in bushes for bush control.
Riot
Make use of her Yordle Snap Traps by placing them pre-emptively to ensure that you'll have one off of cooldown during combat.
Avoid using Ace in the Hole in large team melees as it might be blocked by the wrong target.
Fire 90 Caliber Net away from the opponent to close the gap or hop over walls.
