  2. You build AP items.
  3. You rush Stormsurge.

Champion

  1. This build is optimized for max damage with Hyper (W) in Mini Gnar form.

How to play

General

  1. Playing AP Gnar build, your default rush is Stormsurge.
  2. Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.

Champion

  1. Good second rush is Nashor's Tooth and Lich Bane.
  2. Combo: wait for Hail of Blades + Mini Gnar = burst enemy (+ Stormsurge + Lich Bane + Nashor's Tooth).

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. When you are transformed into Mega Gnar you become melee, which means some runes and items will give you an effect as if you were melee champion. For example: Grasp of the Undying - more heal, more Health, more dmg. Hubris - more ad. First Strike - more gold.

Riot

  1. Managing your Rage is very important. Try to time out your transformations so you can get maximum benefit from both forms.
  2. Position yourself next to walls to bait your enemies into getting stunned by your ultimate.
  3. Know your strengths! Mini Gnar is fast, squishy, and has high sustained damage. Mega Gnar is slow, tough, and has high burst.
