How it works

General

  1. You play as Mage building Burn items.
  2. You rush Liandry's Torment.
  3. You burn your enemies. With DOTs. And debuffs.

How to play

General

  1. Playing AP Kha'Zix build, your default rush is Liandry's Torment vs. HP, Blackfire Torch vs. squishes. Then get the other item
  2. Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).
  3. Items like Morellonomicon or Oblivon Orb are extra effective with this build, thanks to damage over time effects from Liandry's Torment.
  4. An enemy team has an extremely strong shielding? You can get Serpent's Fang to counter it. It works with your DoTs, meaning shield reduction lasts longer.
  5. Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.
  6. If you are doing well, are ahead and want to have some fun, you can buy The Collector item. It works off your damage over time effects!

Champion

  1. Evolve order: W > E > R.
  2. This build is about W and burn effects from Liandry's Torment. You will be playing kind of similar to Ashe for the most part. Just poking and burning enemies from the distance. You will rarely be going in, unless for certain kill.
  3. Last Stand is an important talent that does tons of damage. It has a lot of hidden power. You can manipulate your HP to be most of the time within damage buff. It is risky, however with this build, you have an option to almost never ever go in. Also you can heal up with your W.
  4. Play pattern #1: Use Void Assault (R) (plus optionally ghost), get close to the enemies, use Void Spike (W) and jump away with Leap (E).
  5. Play pattern #2: Get close (but not too close, try to be at max Void Spike (W) range) to the enemies by jumping with Leap (E), use W and run away.
  6. Play pattern (utility) #3: You can go in, soak some damage, use Void Assault (R) to kite and to confuse enemies.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. Void Assault (R) is a great tool. Change the direction just before you use it, so enemies may get confused where are you going. Use this for sneaking, disrupting fights, poking and going for the kills.

Riot

  1. Enemies are considered isolated if they have no allies within a short distance. The damage of Taste Their Fear is massively increased against these targets.
  2. Unseen Threat activates when Kha'Zix cannot be seen by the enemy team. Reactivate by using brush or Void Assault. Don't forget to apply Unseen Threat by autoattacking enemy champions.
  3. Kha'Zix has a great deal of freedom to choose where and when to fight. Pick your battles carefully to succeed.
