How it works
General
- This build is all about Imperial Mandate.
- And also all about slows.
- You support through disrupting fights, being annoying, Slowing/Healing/Buffing and soaking damage.
How to play
General
- Your core items - Imperial Mandate and optionally Rylai's Crystal Scepter for even more slows (and consistency).
- Your slows trigger Font of Life AND Imperial Mandate, healing and buffing your allies.
- Remember that you need to keep close to your allies to trigger Guardian.
- Since LoL Patch 14.1 Imperial Mandate is changed. Now you need your team to proc it to deal any damage. So you need to play a little bit differently. Do not spam mindlessly. Try coordinating it with your team - when they are about to poke or when they go in.
- Font of Life heal can trigger various support items, like Ardent Censer or Staff of Flowing Water or even Moonstone Renewer!
- You need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
Tips and Tricks
General
- Always try stacking your Siphon Strike (Q), even if you are playing very unusual builds like AP or Support. It's gonna help with farming, emergency damage or when pushing turret.
- Your Siphon Strike (Q) resets auto. Try weaving it: auto - Q - auto. This maximizes damage output (especially important to push turrets faster).
- Want to push turrets even faster? Use your Fury of the Sands (R) to reduce your Q cooldown and weave-Q spam to destroy turret quicker.
- Usually spam your Wither (W) on enemy carries, it is a great catching tool.
Riot
- Paying attention to last hitting with Siphoning Strike will have a large impact at the end of a game.
- If you're solo, Spirit Fire is a great way to farm a lane. It can be bad if you're in a lane with 2 and you push too far. Find the right balance between Siphoning Strike last hits and AoE farming.
- If you have low defenses, people will focus you down even during your ultimate. Try buying some survivability items even in your DPS builds.
