How it works

General
  1. You play as Mage building Burn items.
  2. You rush Liandry's Torment.
  3. You burn your enemies. With DOTs. And debuffs.
Nidalee Liandry's specific
  1. This build is all about traps (W), but it also does super okay with poke.
  2. With this build, your traps (W) will become super deadly to enemies.

How to play

General
  1. Playing Liandry's Nidalee build, your default rush is Liandry's Torment vs. HP, Blackfire Torch vs. squishes. Then get the other item
  2. Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).
  3. Items like Morellonomicon or Oblivon Orb are extra effective with this build, thanks to damage over time effects from Liandry's Torment.
  4. In some rare cases, when an enemy team has an extremely strong shielding, you can even buy Serpent's Fang. It works with your DoTs, meaning shield reduction lasts longer.
  5. They have lots of melee? Or you just want to kite them? Get Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
  6. Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.
  7. If you are doing well, are ahead and want to have some fun, you can buy The Collector item. It works off your damage over time effects!
Nidalee Liandry's specific
  1. Place traps in strategic positions, when enemies will be going through - bushes, chokepoints, Health Relic spawns.
  2. If an enemy team is really heavy on poke, you can max E second.
  3. Last Stand is super important talent that does tons of damage. It has a lot of hidden power. You can manipulate your HP to be most of the time within damage buff. It is risky, however with this build, you have option to almost never ever go in. Also you can heal up with your E.
  4. You don't need to manage First Strike very much, because traps will be triggering it often. However when you want to poke with it, just wait for First Strike to be up and hit Q to deal more damage and earn gold.
  5. Be careful to not get poked, because you waste First Strike procs.

Tips and Tricks

General
  1. You can use your traps (W) for bush control.
  2. When there's Cannon minion or Siege minion, try focusing it, so an enemy team won't destroy all your traps.
  3. For that reason, you can put your traps more behind your position (i.e., if an enemy team has great engage on your team).
  4. As Nidalee, you have your 'Ultimate' (Aspect of the Cougar) since lvl 1. You can lose track of enemy levels and get surprised by their level 6 spike and their ulti. Watch out!
Riot
  1. Use brush to your advantage! Moving in and out of brush can heavily alter your effectiveness in battle.
  2. Start team fights by harassing with your Javelin Toss, and then switch to cougar form to chase down Hunted targets.
  3. Bushwhack traps deal damage based on their victim's current Health. Set them up in your team's backline before fights break out during sieges to help your team deal damage to the enemy frontline.
