How it works
General
- You rush Iceborn Gauntlet.
- You play as Tank, but with focus on kitting the enemy team and utility for your team.
- You disrupt fights with CC, soak damage, peel off your carries or initiate for your team.
How to play
General
- You rush Iceborn Gauntlet #1, then you need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
- You can rush Imperial Mandate #2 if you can afford it, this makes this build more fun. However, if you are behind, it is okay to just skip it.
- There's great synergy between Iceborn Gauntlet + Imperial Mandate + Font of Life. You create frozen pools that will persist for a few seconds, slowing enemies, applying Imperial Mandate debuff + Font of Life heal mark for your allies.
- For more utility oriented build, you can get Locket of the Iron Solari (sustain) or Shurelya's Battlesong (engages).
- Triumph rune is better overall (heal and gold), but if you want to have easier time with your mana, go Presence of the Mind.
- Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!
Viktor Iceborn Gauntlet specific
- Your play pattern is going to be Siphon Power (Q), auto attack and kite in between. Your Q works nicely with Shield Bash (damage buff), Grasp of the Undying and other items.
- Evolve Q first. W second. E third.
Tips and Tricks
General
- You can scout bushes with your Hextech Ray (E).
- You can stop an enemy team from pushing your turrets with your Gravity Field (W). Everyone died, and the enemy tries to push? Just put Gravity Field on minions' path.
- You can interrupt many powerful enemy cooldowns and ults with yours! Time Arcane Storm (R) well to stop enemy casts.
- You can peel from your allies by placing Gravity Field (W) beneath them.
- If your team CC, you can try chaining your Gravity Field (W) with them for better effect.
- Chasing someone? Use Siphon Power (Q) for movement speed buff!
Riot
- Hextech Ray is a powerful poke and a strong area of denial tool. Use it in combination with Gravity Field to control your enemy's position.
