How to play

Imperial Mandate Zilean

  1. Your Time Warp (E) triggers Summon Aery.
  1. Your core is Imperial Mandate, optionally Rylai's Crystal Scepter for more consistent slows.
  2. Your CC triggers Glacial Augment that slows AOE. All Slows trigger Font of Life AND Imperial Mandate, healing and buffing your allies.

How Imperial Mandate works

  1. Imperial Mandate requires your TEAM to proc it for damage. Try coordinating it with your allies - mark targets when they're about to get poked or when your team goes in.

Buffing your team

  1. Font of Life heal triggers various support items like Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water or even Moonstone Renewer!
  2. If your team needs sustain, you can even get Diadem of Songs.
  3. If your team has auto attackers, get Ardent Censer. Your Font of Life will buff them constantly.
  4. Bandlepipes is excellent - gives MS and buffs allies' attack speed when you CC/slow enemies.
  5. Staff of Flowing Water is good item if you have lots of AP scaling champions on the team.

Adaptation

  1. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR items like Kaenic Rookern or Spirit Visage.
  2. Enemy team heavy on AD? Buy Armor items like Thornmail or Randuin's Omen.
  3. Your team lacks damage? You can buy damage items - Liandry's Torment or Blackfire Torch work well.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

Time In A Bottle (Passive)

  1. Use your Time In A Bottle (Passive) on champions that benefits the most from higher level. For example
    • They carry.
    • They have some crucial cooldown or unlocks ability or generally speaking they get something with higher level.

Time Bomb (Q)

  1. You can use Time Bomb (Q) to scout bushes.
  2. You can use Time Bomb (Q) also to zone enemies. Even if you not playing AP build, enemies will still instinctively avoid your bombs on the ground.
  3. You can't hit your Qs? Just slow your enemies with Time Warp (E) before nuking them with bombs.
  4. Wanna free poke enemies? Just throw Time Bomb (Q) on friendly minions that are about to die and enemy wants to last hit them.

Chronoshift (R)

  1. Chronoshift (R) is very powerful cooldown. You can use it strategically for various scenarios:
    • Enemy team focusing your carry and he is getting very low? R your teammate to resurrect him.
    • You can also use R for deterrence. If you Chronoshift (R) someone (even at high hp) enemies will be less likely to focus him.

Riot

  1. You can combine the use of Time Bomb and Rewind to place two Time Bombs on a target quickly. Placing the second bomb will detonate the first and stun all nearby enemies.
  2. Time Warp is an effective way to enable allies to finish off enemies, or escape from a losing battle.
  3. Chronoshift is a powerful deterrent to attacking your carries, but casting Chronoshift too early in a fight can cause the enemy to switch targets too soon, making it less effective.
