How it works

General

  1. You rush Iceborn Gauntlet.
  2. You play as Tank, but with focus on kitting the enemy team and utility for your team.
  3. You disrupt fights with CC, soak damage, peel off your carries or initiate for your team.

How to play

General

  1. You rush Iceborn Gauntlet #1, then you need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
  2. You can rush Imperial Mandate #2 if you can afford it, this makes this build more fun. However, if you are behind, it is okay to just skip it.
  3. There's great synergy between Iceborn Gauntlet + Imperial Mandate + Font of Life. You create frozen pools that will persist for a few seconds, slowing enemies, applying Imperial Mandate debuff + Font of Life heal mark for your allies.
  4. For more utility oriented build, you can get Locket of the Iron Solari (sustain) or Shurelya's Battlesong (engages).
  5. Triumph rune is better overall (heal and gold), but if you want to have easier time with your mana, go Presence of the Mind.
  6. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Champion

  1. You have surprisingly high damage output - from your More Sparkles! (Passive) and Spell Thief (W). Remember to auto attack. A lot!
  2. Try picking up all spells in fights and use it on cooldown. This will increase your damage output and make you harder to catch
  3. You can kite pretty well with your W. Use this!
  4. You can use Portal Jump (R) to disrupt fights. Later on, you will be pretty tanky. In fights, R into an enemy team, throw Sleepy Trouble Bubble (E), get focused and R out.

Tips and Tricks

Riot

  1. Paddle Star deals more damage the further it has flown. Casting it behind yourself before redirecting can deal tons of damage.
  2. Break Sleep with your biggest damage source, since enemies who are asleep take double damage.
  3. Sleepy Trouble Bubble travels further over walls. Find a hiding spot to set up for a long distance kill.
